Since launch users have been able to send customer notifications (job confirmations, reschedules, measure confirmations etc) via email, while this hasn't changed the way the emails are being sent has.

All emails are now sent from one email address 'notifications@clockit.co.nz' for New Zealand customers and 'notifications@clockitsoftware.com.au' for Australian customers. We have made this change to increase email deliverability, which prevents emails being bounced back.

All emails will still have the 'ReplyTo' which is the email address any replies go back too, set as the staff members email that created the job/measure etc.

We would strongly recommend that installers 'whitelist' the notifications@clockit.co.nz (or notifications@clockitsoftware.com.au for Australia) email address to avoid any email notifications being sent to spam.

Some examples on how to whitelist email addresses are below:

Gmail - Via browser/computer:

  1. On your computer, go to Google Contacts.

  2. At the top left, click Create contact.

  3. Click Create contact

  4. Enter the contact's information.

  5. Click Save.

Android - Add a contact

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Contacts app

  2. At the bottom right, tap Add

    Add question
  3. Enter the contact’s name and an email or phone number.

    • To pick the account where you want to save the contact: Next to your email account, tap the Down arrow

    • To add more name details: Next to "Name," tap the Down arrow

    • To add a photo: At the top, tap Add picture. Capture or select a picture, then tap Choose.

    • To enter more information, like a street address or notes: Tap More fields.

  4. When you're finished, tap Save.

Apple/iOS

Apple Mail doesn’t have the option to whitelist like some other email providers do. Instead, all you can do is mark something as “Not Junk” and it will be sent to your inbox. Here’s how:

  1. Open your Mail app and go to the Mailboxes screen.

  2. Select the Junk folder.

  3. Find the email you want to whitelist and swipe left to see options.

  4. Tap the More button.

  5. Tap the Mark button.

  6. Tap the Mark as Not Junk button.
